One of the most important aspects of our chapter is sisterhood. Our Director of Sisterhood Rachel Bastian plans numerous sisterhood events throughout the year. Thanks to her hard work, our sisterhood is strengthened as we are able to spend more time with each other by doing fun bonding activities.
In 2016-17, we kicked off the year by tapping into our inner artist and painting ZTA themed canvases. We were also able to partake in a tie dye night, of which these shirts were later worn to our sisterhood retreat where we were able to learn how to work and trust each other. We additionally celebrated the holidays together, where everyone was able to participate in a delicious cookie exchange, along with taking a trip to a local ice skating rink. In the spring semester, we got to go to Sky Zone trampoline park, where we all exercised our backflips and forward jumps, while also enjoying the time spent together as well.
In 2017-18, our sisters were lucky enough to take a trip to the zoo, along with going apple and pumpkin picking to celebrate the beginning of the fall season. Additionally, our sisters all got together for a "Zeta Spa Alpha" spa night, where we gave each other manicures, made lip scrub, ate pancakes, and watched a movie!
