Pink Out the Green

Each year, we hold a philanthropy event on campus, Pink Out The Green.  Everyone participates in fun pink festive activities as they cross the green throughout the day. They are annually encouraged to contribute to our "Kiss Away Cancer," as well as our "Strength" banner. Dozens of letters are created for the Girls Love Mail campaign, of which each hand-written letter goes to a newly diagnosed woman with breast cancer. We spray painted many students' hair pink to support breast cancer awareness as well. Across campus, students, professors, and university employees are seen wearing pink, along with ribbons that we pass out. Even months later, the pink ribbons can still be seen on backpacks all over campus!
